You have reached the website of Laura Braun, born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, I'm a McMaster graduate who is closely connected with my community. I have an  M.A. in Communications and New Media at McMaster University, with a focus on social and interactive media, as well as television/documentary production and communications theory. I have also obtained an honours B.A. in Communications and Multimedia, also from McMaster, for which my fourth year thesis documentary was awarded the Multimedia Senior Thesis Prize.

Currently, I am employed at Cable 14, a community television station in Hamilton, and also work at CHCH News one of the major news stations in Southern Ontario.  I have also done a multitude of freelance work, including web and graphic design for a variety of companies and individuals. I am passionate about television production, and thoroughly enjoy designing websites and creating print materials.  In my free time, I love spending time with my family and dog, Bentley.
